Maryland Licensing Portal

Learn how to qualify for Maryland’s Wear & Carry permit, including training requirements and the renewal process. Use the portal to apply for your MD HQL, MD Wear & Carry, Renewal, 77R and more.

MD Wear & Carry Renewal Notes:
- Training: Must complete an 8-hour renewal course with a qualified instructor up to 2 years prior to your expiration date.
- Process: Done entirely online via the Maryland State Police Licensing Portal.
- Timeline: Submit your renewal application 120 days before expiration to avoid a lapse.
- Fee: $75, payable to MSP through the online portal.
- Documents: Upload the signed MSP 29-14 form (qualification score sheet received during training) and a recent passport-style photo.

For DE Residents: Review Delaware’s permit process and how our training can support your application.
Fingerprints must be taken by State Bureau of Identification within 45 days prior to filing the application. Schedule Fingerprinting at https://uenroll.identogo.com/ and use the following Service Codes based on your filing county location.- New Castle County: 27S7Q4,
- Kent County: 27RV9F, or
- Sussex County: 27S7RK.

New Jersey Concealed Carry Permit
